Like all parents, Rod and I have dreams for our children's futures. Rod's childhood dream for himself was to play catcher for the Cincinnati Reds. Unfortunately, this dream was not realized. The next best thing for him would be for his son to play for the Reds. Therefore, Rod is happy with the kids' love for playing backyard baseball. The game is quite simple. Will and I take turns pitching and batting. The babies are all-time fielders. There are no bases or anything. The pitcher throws to the batter. If the batter hits the ball, the babies run and get the ball, then return it to the pitcher. Simple, but fun. We have played this the last several days.
